I have been watching the USGS.gov seismic servers for some many years now @ http://earthquake.usgs.gov/monitoring/operations/heliplots_gsn.php
I have watched live earthquakes happen daily and the happen and then the plots level out to flat lines shortly after the quakes on out until the next quake. Now we have something new, where after the quake, the plot keeps moving. This is a new phenomena – have a look:
These vibrations are not normal. What they might mean, I am not sure. I studied Geology in High School & College, and I have been watching the live seismic for many years now… never seeing this. Just thought I’d mention it in case someone else has a take on it…
