If you are bio-naturally fertile, or you expect to live TODAY+20 years, you are Nuclear Bio=Dependant on the Environment to survive... If you don't have 20+ years to love (like you are 50 years old now) then you don't have a realistic need to worry about Fuck-U-Shima radiation, exposure.... I had a circumstance were I suffered Chernobyl radiation damage to my thyroid.
I had nodules in my thyroid that the surgeon stated was from Chernobyl radiation... No Shit, he straight up said it. I had my thyroid out -thyroid-lobcotomy- took it out- and the surgeon stated that it was from Chernobyl radiation... go figure? So figure it out... you need to have your thyroid scanned... a sonogram and it is simple.
