Envirotards from Planet Claire

Bill Gates pays for ‘artificial’ clouds to beat greenhouse gases

Excerpt:
"Bill Gates, the Microsoft billionaire, is funding research into machines to suck up ten tonnes of seawater every second and spray it upwards. This would seed vast banks of white clouds to reflect the Sun’s rays away from Earth."  Read the whole article here: http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/article7120011.ece

Planet Claire was the invention of the Air-Head Band, The B52s. The inhabitants of planet Claire "Have No Heads..." and is why I now believe that most Envirotards must have "came from there."

Great plan there Mr. Gates, but maybe you should leave the thinking to someone that actually finished college before taking the express elevator to the 4th level of hell, err, I mean getting into the business of corporate avarice and greed.

1st of all, global temperature fluctuations are not caused by human activity (There is not enough space here to go into all the reasons that this is true). Let me repeat that slowly for you: global    temperature    fluctuations    are    not    caused    by    human    activity.  Unless of course, you pull off this bonehead plan. If you do, you will probably increase the local temperature in whatever area you install your little salt water misting machine.

Listen up Envirotards! I’m going to break this down for you:  Yes, water clouds reflect the sun’s heat back into space.  How do we normally get clouds?  We get clouds when water vapor evaporates off of the surface of the oceans, lakes, the surfaces of vegetation and the land itself. When water vapor evaporates off of the surface of the ocean, the salt part of “salt water” stays in the ocean.

The water vapor, due to temperature and pressure variables in the atmosphere sometimes and somewheres condenses into clouds. At other times and other wheres, due to temperature and pressure variables in the atmosphere, the clouds evaporate back into water vapor.  This is the 2nd problem with your plan: water vapor is a greenhouse gas. Indeed, clouds reflect heat, but water vapor traps heat.

The problem with your Envirotard plan arises out of the ratio between clouds and water vapor. I have some visual aids:  Figure #1 below shows a snapshot of the clouds above the US today: not a bunch of clouds there….

Figure #1 - Clouds

Figure #2 below shows a snapshot of the water vapor above the US today: there’s a whole  bunch of water vapor present there, and not reflecting heat, but trapping it.

Figure #2 – Water Vapor

So the problem is that if you spray water into the air, it may make some clouds (if the temperature and pressure variables in the atmosphere are just right), but it is more likely that you will simply be contributing water vapor (a greenhouse gas) to the atmosphere. The plan might have sounded good, but without a mechanism to insure that the water vapor will be turned into clouds, the plan would only contribute to the alleged problem.

Hey, you should talk to the US Military, they are getting pretty good at making clouds with HAARP & Scaler technology (as the rain display in the Mid-West this summer demonstrates). Maybe you could get a joint venture with the Military to create clouds out of the earth’s existing water vapor and save yourself the cost of the salt water misting machines.

Now, aside from the Water Vapor to Cloud ratio problem, I think I need to point out another couple of flaws in your plan; Salt. Salt is a heat sink. Sodum, the major component of salt absorbs and holds heat… Wow, bet you Envirotards didn’t know that?  Yup, sodium is so good at holding heat that some nuclear reactors use it to transfer heat to the water that then spins the turbines… Oops! Am I getting too technical for you? Sorry, on to the other issue with salt.

Normally, when water vapor evaporates off of the surface of the ocean, the salt part of “salt water” stays in the ocean, mostly.  If you intend to spray salt water into the air directly, well, a lot more salt will be wafted into the atmosphere than would otherwise occur with natural evaporation. This is bad for two reasons: 1st, salt is corrosive and  bad for manmade stuff like metals. Salt is also kind of bad for growing things like forests, grasses and agricultural food crops too.

Any country down wind of your salt water misting machine would likely get majorly hosed with salt fallout, destroying manmade stuff (cars, machinery, buildings, etc…) and reducing the ability of its inhabitants to grow food and other agricultural crops. Hey, I had a thought! If you, Mr. Gates, wanted to get into the business of reducing the earth’s human population, your salt water misting machines would be great for that, but not so much for cooling the climate.

My suggestion to you, Mr. Gates, is that you focus on your eugenics work with vaccines to sterilize all the people Africa and leave the Envirotards and Military to muck around with the weather.

Update:
All Geoengineers are Envirotards too:  These idiot fucks are going to start mucking with the atmospher and possibly kill us all.
